This book is a hardcover, with an embossed front and back cover, gilt lettering on the spine, no dust jacket and heavily sunned purple boards. It is 4.75" x 7.25" with 270 pages.
The only illustration is the frontispiece of the esteemed author, see images, which is protected by a piece of tissue. The book is in very good condition, considering its age. With no marks or writing.
