Super Rare 1860s CDV Photo of Educator SARAH PORTER Miss Porter's School
Very rare, original CDV photo of Sarah Porter (August 16, 1813 - February 18, 1900), the American educator who founded Miss Porter's School, a private college preparatory school for girls. She is shown in her garden holding a book. On the back in period pencil is written: 18th December 1864 Last Sunday Studio imprint, Kellogg Brothers of Hartford, Connecticut. CDV is in very good antique condition, slightly trimmed with rounded corners. Dimensions are 4" x 2 3/8". This item is in the category "Collectibles\Photographic Images\Photographs".
